The general response to this news letter has been overwhelming to say the least. It is our intent to try and keep this as a "plain Jane." We will be trying to improve the appearance, but our main concern is in maintaining the quality high. If classical equitation is ever going to make a comeback it will only be through grass root effort of people committed to the horse. Submissions and your thoughts are what can shape this fledgling magazine. The facts about classical riding are a soft fuzzy for many people. Much of the "real" information is obscure and hard to get. The more we can all share the more we can all know. From this comes a new wave of "radical" gentleness in dealing with our horses.
It is now in our time, when thinking and caring people can eliminate the glamour and illusion that surround the art and forge a new classical horsemanship whose foundation is in the spirit and not in the shows or money. There are no second class horses or people, we can all be Olympic in our hearts and minds, by just resolving to be a little better than we were yesterday

The NSAE will be conducting it adult summer camp in August. Please make reservation in advance. Camp is 10 am to 3 PM, Monday thru Friday. Camp is limited in size and focus is on a quality time, with two formal lessons per day. Immerse your self in classical riding for a week or two up to a month. We accept all levels.
